Coronavirus / Covid19 – We are happy to offer 100% refunds of both Deposits and Balance payments to our existing guests and any who book during 2020/21. Because of these strange times we are also happy for guests to make the Balance payment one week before their arrival.
We want our guests to be confident that they will not be out of pocket when booking our holiday cottage.
I would like to register my thanks to my new and regular guests for being so flexible and supportive during these very difficult times.

Each week that is VACANT is stated below in capital letters.
If only part of a week is available we state the dates in the VACANT column.
If we do not have a vacancy for your required visit dates, please tell me as a riverbank neighbour has weeks available and I will contact them for you.
You can send a Booking Form by either –
1. Cut and paste and complete the Booking Form in Word, or similar software, or
2. Print the Booking Form, complete by hand and post it to my home address, or
3. Email, or text, or hand write, or post the information to us, i.e. don’t use the Booking Form, whatever you prefer.
We don’t offer a Per Night rate for either High Season or School Holidays unless there’s a vacancy two weeks before arrival.

We also accept MoneyGram from the Post Office or Western Union but don`t recommend their use.
Please supply your own linen, i.e. duvet covers, bottom sheet, pillow cases, towels, bath mat, tea towels
Although one bed is King Sized you will find that you can put this duvet into a Standard Double Bed duvet cover.
A “non fitted” Double Bed bottom sheet will cover our mattress.
Please do not use a sleeping bag on the beds

Tackle Store with bait fridge, light, exterior LED floodlight on decking / river (midges are not attracted to LED lights and they are more economical to use, buckets, etc.
Our visitors tell us that the house is as well-equipped as their own homes.

Yes we accept well behaved pets for a fee of £5 per pet per day.
For the comfort of others we ask visitors not to smoke inside the holiday cottage.
Car Parking / Access
Via a flat concrete path 50 yards from the MBBDC / the boatyard car park – £16 p.w. Jan. 2020.
The flat concrete path is wide enough for a wheelchair and our large luggage cart.
Please note that the path is not illuminated so please bring a torch, we do have a movement activated porch light, please bring wellington boots with you.
You may take over Moonriver from 3 pm, or later, on the day of arrival, but it must be
vacated by 10 am on the day of departure in a clean condition.
You can arrive earlier and leave your luggage, etc. in the Tackle Store,
but please do not leave things inside Moonriver before our cleaner has finished as Linda wants to do a good job.

plus they will be included in your receipt letter.
We keep the keys in a combination Key Safe.
A non returnable booking deposit of £75 per week is requested with your Booking Form.
This is deducted from the balance that is payable at the latest two months before your arrival.
On receipt of your payments we will immediately confirm your reservation and send you a receipt.
We also offer “Part Week” /“Short Breaks” during the Low Season and as last minute bookings, ie your required week is two weeks in the future or less.
We charge the same amount as Eastern Electricity via a £1 coin meter.
Please ensure that your coins are not sticky, or bent, or damaged as they may jam the meter.
Please use £1 coins only.
The walls, floor and ceiling spaces are all fully insulated with the best insulation foam available.

Alternatively, it is recommended that you give a second choice of dates in case your first choice is already booked.
